"One True Religion" is an exhibition of handcrafted wooden surfboards by Peter Walker, held at Gallery Artisan, 381 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Queensland, from August 25 to September 24, 2011. The exhibition explores the space where sport and recreation meet art and design.

Phil Hayes contributed artwork to the featured surfboard "Spitting" (2010), a synthetic polymer paint work on Paulownia timber, 6'6", photographed by Grant Hancock. The board is a striking example of Hayes' signature visual language, blending Australian and Chinese imagery across a handcrafted wooden form.

The exhibition opening was held on Thursday August 25, 2011, 6pm to 8pm, opened by John Witzig with music by Simulcast. Gallery Artisan receives financial assistance from Arts Queensland and the Australia Council, the Commonwealth Government's arts funding and advisory body.

Gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday 10:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm.
