Hayes' works are prints and lithographs, while Milojevic's are mixed media. Both artists share a focus on family themes, though each brings a very different personal lens. The exhibition is titled Raconteur's Meandering, featuring a depicted series about family, which can represent all families.

The predominant theme in Hayes' exhibition concerns a fictitious character called Aunt Doris. All families have a skeleton in the cupboard, a relation whom everyone is too scared or embarrassed to talk about, Hayes noted.

Milojevic, of German-Yugoslav heritage and raised across three very different cultures, draws on the migrant experience and his father's photographs to explore themes of assimilation, identity and emotional response. His prints, entitled Arrival, are related in sequence and rooted in the World War II experience of Australians of Italian descent.
